Our world not only tops the most popular Cobblemon servers,
it's even more content-packed than official Pokémon games
However, RSL is exclusive to those invited from our waitlist,
luckily our waitlist is open for any Pokémon fan to sign up!
Server Access consideration requires players to first join the waitlist.
It is free to join the waitlist.
Once there are 500 players in the waitlist, the server will launch exclusively to those accepted.
After launch, more players from the waitlist will be invited in waves, weekly.
Player Membership costs a $4.99 monthly subscription, which is not paid until player gets accepted to join. Why?
With the subscription comes 31 days of server access & 250 Stars.
Stars do not have any pay-to-win properties.
Stars are used to participate in tournaments, and is a tournament prize too.
Stars won in tournaments can be withdrawn into real money under certain conditions.
RSL does not have or support gambling with real money or equivalent.
RSL does not have or support "pay-to-win" advantages.

What is Rodd’s Shadow League?
RSL is a Cobblemon league & Minecraft-Java server by rodderrick co™, leaning towards strategic Pokémon gameplay, plus daily competitive tournaments with real prizes, and a classic+ Pokémon journey.
How do I "earn real money"?
Players have the chance to "earn real money" by winning tournament Star prizes, which can be withdrawn into real money under a few conditions. Alternatively, eligible Stars can be used to purchase a variety of items in our shop (coming soon), even including Membership for the next month.
How much does it cost to play?
Membership costs $4.99, which provides 31 days of server access. This also includes 250 Stars each month, which is used to participate in tournaments.
Why does it cost money to play? (added 3-13-2026)
We believe we offer premium content that incredibly surpasses top Cobblemon Minecraft servers. RSL has far more content than mainline Pokémon games, plus it's online, maintained, and updated frequently. We offer a unique experience and journey through our custom Pokémon region, Gravemire.
How do I withdraw money?
To withdraw money, you must be at least 18 years old. Alternatively, players of any age can use their eligible Stars to purchase a variety of items from our shop (coming soon), even including Membership for the next month.
Stars become eligible to be withdrawn into real money under these few conditions:
1) Only Stars won in tournament prizes can be withdrawn
2) Star withdraw value must equal $5-300 USD, allowed daily
3) Stars become available to be withdrawn after a 72 hour holding period
Why is there a waitlist?
RSL has limited player slots to keep the server exclusive. When a player becomes inactive, a new challenger from the reserve waitlist is invited. This keeps the server active, and players retain their intent to compete.
When does the server launch?
The server will launch and open to the first accepted players from the waitlist in April 2026, or once the 500 player goal is achieved. Join the waitlist for the opportunity to compete!
How does ranking work?
RSL uses a complex statistic-based ELO system, that automatically adjusts based on battle performance. Players are matched with others near their skill level, paired with anti-abuse conditions to prevent stat farming or inflation.
Is the server only for competitive players? (added 3-13-2026)
NO! Both casual and competitive players are welcome. RSL is jam packed with content suitable for both play styles.
What is banned from battles? (added 3-13-2026)
No items, moves, abilities, etc are banned from use in battling. RSL tries to be as similar to Pokémon VGC rules as possible, using exclusively doubles battle format. We do use our own Regulation Set restrictions, which whitelist/blacklist certain Pokémon from being used in competitive tournaments for a set time.
